I hired empire group to make a prototype of a tool I am designing. They were easy to work with at the start but things didn't go well from there. The contract was half the money upfront and half of the money upon delivery of my product. When I gave them my CC for the deposit they charged me the cost of the entire job. They product was supposed to be delivered in three weeks. When I didn't hear from them for about 4 weeks, I sent a few emails to see where we were at and got no response. I sent multiple emails with no response. Finally I heard back and was told there were delays in the materials. I finally received my prototype after about 6 weeks. I gave empire group exact drawings of what I was looking for but the prototype came back NOT to spec. The prototype was a great starting point for my project so I wanted to continue the process. When I asked to have some changes made, I got no response. I wasn't expecting them to do anything for free and was fully willing to pay for the services. After about a few months of the project stalling out due to my full time job being really busy, I reached back out and set up a meeting, which they canceled the day before. Terrible experience, I would avoid this company.
