Welcome to the Rockville Science Center! Our interactive space is designed for all ages to experience hands-on learning and connect with the scientific community. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are supported by grants from the City of Rockville, local entities, sponsorships from area scientific organizations, and donations from our visitors. We offer a variety of programs, including afterschool, homeschool, and weekend classes, summer camps, birthday parties, high school engineering teams (Explorer Post 1010), Girls in STEM initiatives, online lectures, Explorations! field trips, chess and math clubs, and amateur radio hangouts. Throughout the year, we host special events such as Rockville Science Day in April, Community STEM Days, and watch parties.
