I needed some custom work done, a 3D scan and print of a sunroof hinge for my Tahoe. One side broke and I figured we could scan the good part on the other side to replicate the part. Dealer quoted me $3k to replace the whole sunroof and that seemed nuts to replace one small piece. Ty 3D scanned the good part from one side, printed it in some kind of carbon fiber nylon and the next day I had a replacement part that feels tougher than the original and worked perfectly. Literally saved me thousands. Highly recommend.
